T & C Fabrication & Services Ltd. is a metal fabrication and repair shop based in Heriot Bay on Quadra Island, British Columbia. We serve the logging, mining, aquaculture, and residential sectors across all of Vancouver Island.
Our shop handles everything from custom aluminum and wood gates to heavy industrial equipment repair. Whether you need a one-off custom build or ongoing maintenance for your operation, we have the tools, skills, and experience to deliver.

Meet Ted
Ted is the hands-on owner and fabricator behind T & C Fabrication & Services Ltd. He runs the entire operation — from quoting projects and sourcing materials to cutting steel, laying welds, and delivering finished work. When you call T & C, you are talking to the person who will actually build your project.
With years of experience in metal fabrication on Quadra Island, Ted has built a reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service. He has worked across the full spectrum of fabrication, from heavy-duty industrial equipment repair for logging and mining companies to precision aluminum welding for marine applications and fine residential metalwork.
Ted's approach is simple: understand what the client needs, build it right the first time, and stand behind the work. That philosophy has made T & C Fabrication the go-to shop for custom welding and metal fabrication on Quadra Island, Campbell River, and across Vancouver Island.
On the Road
Fully Equipped Mobile Welding
Not every job can come to the shop. That is why T & C Fabrication operates a fully equipped mobile welding truck that brings professional fabrication capability to your location. Whether it is a logging site up the Sayward Forest road, a fish farm dock in the Discovery Islands, or a residential property in Campbell River, our mobile rig comes to you.
The mobile welding truck carries MIG welding, stick welding, and plasma cutting equipment, along with grinders, hand tools, and common materials. It is fully self-contained for on-site repairs, installations, and field fabrication. Ted regularly covers Quadra Island, Campbell River, Cortes Island, the Discovery Islands, and all of Vancouver Island with mobile welding service.
For emergency breakdowns on logging, mining, or aquaculture equipment, our mobile service means you do not have to wait for equipment to be transported to a shop. While our shop is based in Heriot Bay on Quadra Island, our service reach extends across the entirety of Vancouver Island. Ted regularly travels with the mobile welding truck to Campbell River, the Comox Valley, Sayward, Gold River, and the northern island communities of Port McNeill, Port Hardy, and Port Alice.
For the Discovery Islands — including Cortes Island, Read Island, Sonora Island, and the surrounding smaller islands — we are the closest professional metal fabrication shop. Our island location in the heart of the archipelago means faster response times and lower transport costs for remote coastal clients.
We also serve southern Vancouver Island communities including Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Courtenay, Tofino, and Ucluelet. For planned projects, we fabricate in our shop and arrange delivery. For on-site work, our mobile rig travels to your location.
